Their backs are against the wall facing elimination. A crucial game. Does Beckett and Sabathia turn this game into a pitching duel?

Folks I'm impartial. I'm not a fan of either team.

In the history of MLB 10 teams out of 65 opportunities have come back form a 1-3 deficit to win a best of 7 series. That comes to about a 15% chance and that is what I would say the chances for the Red Sox are against the Indians in this series.

I believe that the sox will win tonight because of big hits.

The game will be a pitchers duel, but Sabathia will give up a couple of hits (3-4) and those will be big hits.

Final: Red Sox 3, Indians 1

Since I have been a Red Sox fan they have always surprised me by pulling wins out of their buns. I believe Beckett will do a great job pitching, but it is really going to come down to their bats. The Sox have been able to get hits off of Sabathia in Game 1 and I am hoping they can again tonight. Hopefully batters will hit their stride tonight, and Beckett will be able to hold Indians batters at bay.

Definitely not.....if they wanted to get back in this series they should have attempted sooner.....coming back with 3 straight wins is something they may have been able to do against the Yanks, but not against this Indians team....they're an amazing team....Beckett saved his team before in this kind of situation, but he's 0-2 at the Jake......so you can hold on to your hopes, but the reality is that its Clevelands turn to go to the WS, and maybe even bring it home.....

I think the Tribe will pull it out tonight pitching the game of his life. If Boston does win it will make everything a little more interesting. The Indians would still have the advantage but they would be in Fenway.

it relatively is not over till finally it relatively is over. 2004 we've been down 3 video games to 0 and battled back combating to win each and every pastime. i'm no longer taking something faraway from the Indians yet i'm no longer giving up because of the fact have been down a million pastime.

No they will not come back to win the ALCS, even if they win tonight. That would be even more phenomenal of an achievement than it was in 2004. The Indians are too good of a team to flame out like that.

Boston's not beating Cleveland 3 in a row the way they've been playing.
