I mean its like watching someone jump off a cliff without a parachute...they just keep falling until they hit bottom. I'm not a Red Sox/Yankees fan or hater just asking a question. So no drama please.

I need help with Texas History class, I'm trying to figure out a baseball player with a lot of achievements and well-known to write about any ideas? Needs to be in Texas though ( all achievements, honors, anything he did).

We've been out of the race for a long time, so it's nice to see us at least trying to play the spoiler role. I think we've got a nice staff for next season with Halladay, Burnett, McGowan and Marcum, but I was surprised to see Litsch shut them down tonight. And our bullpen only pitched 2.2 innings in 3 games!

Anyway, good luck to the Yanks and Sox. I'm just happy to see my team playing well.

HA! 6-1. 1.5 games back. You cant even make a comeback against that. Now you cant use the standings against us.

That NO team in the majors wil win over 95 games? (Remember, the '59 WSox did it in 154 games)

It looks apparent.

I think they did. Kudos to Cleveland. They simply played better baseball than The Tigers did, and deserve to be Central Divsion Champions. My new avatar is a result of a bet I lost.

I am still proud of The Detroit Tigers. I will always be a fan no matter what.

What was the last trade that involved the Red Sox and Yankees? Links would be great, and to let me know if you're a Sox/Yankee/other fan if you could.

Cheers to Ecko. I love the concept. and bond's is calling him an idiot. its genius in my opinion. what's your opinion... space, asterisk, or H.O.F.? and IS ecko and idiot or is bonds just pissed about being called out on it?

2007-09-19 11:30:01 · 21 answers · asked by Anonymous

Who else feels that Bonds is wrong in saying what he did to Marc Ecko for buying the 756 baseball for $750000. Ecko is allowing the public to vote on what to do with it: 1. give it to the National Baseball Hall of Fame, 2.brand it with an asterisk before sending it to Cooperstown or 3.blast it into space on a rocket ship. The asterisk would represent bonds alleged steroid use. Bonds sayed that Ecko was an idiot for paying what he did for the ball. Why did Bonds care what the winning bidder did? It is legally Ecko's baseball now and he can do what he wants with it.

The Indians have been overlooked and underrated all year long. Today they completed a 3 game sweep of the Tigers that all but gives them the division. It took until August for many people to figure out the Indians might just be in contention. It wasn't until earlier September that most people said they would go to the playoffs. I know most of you think they will be knocked out first round by whoever(and maybe they will)but we will have to wait and see. So for now, lets just sit back and give the Indians their credit. Agree?
