I think they did. Kudos to Cleveland. They simply played better baseball than The Tigers did, and deserve to be Central Divsion Champions. My new avatar is a result of a bet I lost.

I am still proud of The Detroit Tigers. I will always be a fan no matter what.

You are a good sport. Still, to have gone from 2003 to 2006 must have been very gratifying. Wait till next year.

i think they just did but that's OK they had a heck of a year a no hitter by verlander mags just might win the AL batting title polanco up their as well 4 players with 100 runs scored each and how about Curtis granderson wow 20 + stolen bases 20 +doubles 20 + triples 20+ home runs and Todd Jones 300 career saves i think what hurt the tigers this year was the pitching if we had rogers all season we might have 10 - 15 more wins and if Rodney and zumya were OK we just might have the best record in baseball right now i just hope next year at this time the beloved tigers will be #1 in baseball and win it all go tigers a fan 4 life

First, I love your new avatar.. I in fact, picked your answer best just because of it!

And yes, the Nail is in the coffin now. Hopefully, the Indians can clinch at home vs. Oakland, with a loss or two by Detroit.

It takes alot to stay a fan of a team that loses 100+ games for many many consecutive years. You understand, It was alot like that for Indians fans for a very long time as well.

And yea, they made a movie about their suckness.

Unfortunately I think they did. The Tigers still have an outside shot at the Wild Card, but the division is lost. Kind of disappointed personally, I wanted to see them get back in the playoffs at least.

yup, pretty sure the Tigers are toast.being a lifetime Tiger fan I am sad to admit it,but it's true, they really blew it getting swept like that, and considering the Yankees cushy schedule,I would seriously doubt that theymake the wild card either.

Oh yeah they did. There is no way the Tigers can recover from this sweep.

Yeah, I think so, although the Tigers are yet clinging to faint wild card hopes.

I commend you on your sportsmanship, you get a star just for that. :-)
