Im a red sox fan who has faith in his team even when the manager seems to have lost his way recently.
Red Sox will bounce back just keep watching and yankee fans come off of cloud nine its only a dream that will deflate you. GO SOX.

I think his last name was a long asian sounding name. He had a very round almost hawaiian looking face...Thanks!

Blown saves, losses, can't find the plate. The Red Sox gave up young lefthander Kason Gabbard for a bill of goods.

Is anybody else sick of people just answering questions with, "The Yankees suck" or "The Red Sox suck". Its annoying and degrading to the very people who think they are being so smart by saying it. It just shows what superficial fans of the game they are.

I think DH's get very little respect, all the awards go to positional players like in 2005 when A-rod won the MVP over Big Papi, even though Papi had an enormous season. So who do you think is the greatest DH of all time ?

My list is:
1. Edgar Martinez
2. Frank Thomas
3. David Ortiz

I think Michael Kay is the worst announcer I have ever heard. He is so lame, and so boring. With all of great Baseball personalities out there, is this is the best we can get here?

On SNY for Met games, I can just listen to those guys talk for hours. It's an overall well produced broadcast. But with the Yes Network, I find myself falling asleep, it's just so corny. Even the Yes production and music, it's just all bad. Does anyone agree?

I suppose if you feel Barry Bonds legitamitly broke Hank Aarons record you might not agree with how Marc Ecko is going about deciding the balls fate.... but I do not so I voted to brand it! What did you vote or what would you vote if you haven't or do not plan to vote?

Since I just asked about position players, let's go with pitchers as well. For me it goes like this:
1) Walter Johnson
2) Roger Clemens
3) Bob Gibson
4) Warren Spahn
5) Cy Young
6) Pete Alexander
7) Steve Carlton
8) Tom Seaver
9) Lefty Grove
10) Christy Mathewson

Position players only, too tough to mix pitchers into this argument! Any era, and by any criteria you deem them worthy of the top 10. Mine goes like this:
1) Babe Ruth
2) Ted Williams
3) Willie Mays
4) Hank Aaron
5) Ty Cobb
6) Honus Wagner
7) Joe DiMaggio
8) Mickey Mantle
9) Frank Robinson
10) Lou Gehrig

I didn't put anyone still playing on this list, as I'll wait for the chips to fall. Honorable mention: Pete Rose, Johnny Bench, Mike Schmidt, Jimmie Foxx.
