I am a Yankee fan, and I worry about the Tigers, as a sox fan you best be watching them also, If the yanks take the division it means the sox have lost 5 or 6 of the remaining games, if the tigers keep pace with the yanks then.......
Cloud nine, im not on it until the fat lady sings at the end of October, and then it only lasts a week or two.

There is no reason in the world to worry my friend. The Sox have a better team than the Yankees do. Even by some miracle the Yanks win the division, we're still in the playoffs and if the two teams should meet in the ALCS then i have no doubt the Red Sox would win. Enjoy the season, donbt worry about playoffs!

I laugh so hard at the Yankee Fans *********, it makes my stomach hurt, and they say were cocky................But then I see Mrs.Jeter and John A, and I know Red Sox Fans are the humble ones, just compared to those 2 above me, its ridiculous how they toot there horns with 2 weeks left................
And John A do you really seriously believe yourself when you say that the Yankees have a better pitching staff then the Red Sox..............Did you really actually say that??
Yes it would be my all time dream to take the Yankee starting pitching to the ALCS or WS.
Because well you have a 45 year old man, Moose {which is just laughable picturing him pitching through 6 innings in the playoffs}and a bunch of rookies.............Your only good starter is Andy.Hmmmmmm, yes you by far have a much much better starting rotation then the Red Sox.
NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would trust Schill, Beckett and Dice-K over your top 3 starters. And don't even get me started on your superb bullpen against ours.
God Yankee Fans need a dose of reality.
Pitching wins you championship's!!!Yankees are by far a hitting club............Red Sox have good hitters also, but we have better pitchers then the Yankees.
DEAL WITH IT!!!!

Yes, if we do lose the American League East, the Yankees' fans surely will laugh in our face and say something about the whole 12 year streak they have going, but even if we do, we are still 7 games ahead of the Tigers, so no worries. A TRUE Red Sox fan will know and learn to love the team for their amazing display of ways to lose. Alls I can say is, can't wait for the ALCS.

Spoken from experience. See you know the Red Sox deflate you from your dream. Yankees fans don't have that experience tells us that we will win. You are understandably wrong though when you live with the Red Sox of course you'd assume dreams will deflate. I'm sorry they do that. Yankees fans don't live with that kind of failure on a regular basis.

They probably will and if they do, good for them. They have played well and deserve it. Just as long as Yankees take the wild card. BUT with the red sox losing lately and Yankees winning, it's hurting the Red Sox.

The Sox better not just worry about losing the AL East to the Yankees, they should be worried about making the playoffs...

you should worry--for one the yankees have completly embarassed them this 2nd half of the season. The yankees starting pitching and bullpen, and lineup, is clearly better than the Redsox, if you disagree you're a bunch of idiots...the only reliable pitcher on boston is beckett. Sox will be lucky to make it past the 1st round this year
