Not at all, I don't like either of them, but if I had to choose who was better, I'd say A-Rod.
He is a better hitter. He can play SS better than Jeter, and he can also play 3RD, something Jeter has never done.

No I don't simply because Alex Rodriquez has better overall stats then Derek Jeter does plus Alex Rodriquez is a better defensive shortstop then Derek Jeter is as well.

Arod has more talent, which is saying a lot because Jeter is one of the best players in the league. However, in the clutch I want Jeter up at the plate. Jeter has the edge that nobody can explain he is just clutch when it counts. Arod puts too much pressure on himself in such situations however, without Arod Jeter probably wouldn't be gettin into these situations this year.

I am a huge Red Sox fan.
I f'in hate them both!!!!!!
They are both great players and Derek Jeter is the most clutch player that I personally have ever witnessed.
Wow, year in and year out.....he just gets it done!
Did I mention that I hate them?

Better at what? As a captain/leader - yes. As an all around player- no. As a fielder - tossup. As a batter, ARod has a slight lead overall. As a role model? Depends for whom...
