Boo'ed by philly fan: santa claus, mike schmidt, charles barkley, allen iverson, ron jaworski, dr. j.,maurice cheeks, bobby jones, mcnabb, the entire flyers team (several times), the entire phillies team (several times), the entire eagles team (several teams), the entire sixers team (several times)
Cheered by philly fan: Michael Irvin has he lay motionless on the floor of the Vet with a career ending injury.
philly fan is what it is and it is HARSH!!!!

I like J-Roll but he has gotten a little.. big headed. I think he crossed the line i mean he's not really having a MVP season himself. The fans give ya support and he dissed em.. Sure there are frontrunners i mean they're everywhere in baseball but you can't generalize .. okay i get that phillies fans can be.. err well ya know... extreme but still.. i'm not a phillies fan either

It's true. I heard them do it when NBC had the Saturday Game of the Week. Schmidt struck out to end the inning, and as they went to commercial, Bob Costas said "One of the greatest third basemen of all time, a future Hall of Famer, booed by his own fans."

Philadelphia fans are easily the worst and malcontented fans in the country. They boo every single star they ever had in every sport. They would boo Jesus Christ if he was on the bump.
