Which baseball card company printed the full name (including middle name) of the player on the back? I am thinking of cards made in the mid 90s. If anyone knows of a link with pix for this company that'd be great too. Thx.

At first base in the NL, Fielder has had a couple good seasons, but Albert has had a good career. Obviously I want to see Albert but Fielder is close. How do you base your votes for the all-star game.

Season stats or career stats?

I am a base ball player and I am the power hitter, last game I struck out 3 times and hit for a pop-fly out. One of my team mates hit a homerun, another hit a triple. I am missing next game. I have 11 players on my team. I was wondering if you think I will get moved down in the lineup, If so, which spot do you think I will be in?

I've noticed in all the Adam Dunn talk that many people complain about his strikeouts. Why does this matter so much? He has the same career OBP as Ichiro, who is considered a hitting machine. Would you rather he hit a grounder or popout? You can argue about "productive outs," but that's never been proven as a valid argument. And for the record, four of the top 10 in Ks all-time are Hall of Famers, with Jim Thome likely to be the fifth.....so why the big deal?

first off i am a huge yanks fan and have been all my life

and so i am used to seein the yanks in the playoffs

so yes, yanks fans have been spoiled by constant playoff appearances but havnt won the W.S. since 2000

theyve made the playoffs every year, only to lose out. 2001 and 2003 in the W.S., 2004 in the ALCS, and 2002, 2005, 2006 in the ALDS

so if the yanks make the playoffs this year (and there is a chance they may not) how far will they go????

I think that since the Padres play in a pitcher friendly ballpark, we could get Jake Peavy, a dominant number one starter with an ERA under 2. Do you suppose we could:

Trade Dunn and (starting pitcher, like Kyle Lohse) for Jake Peavy?

This would give Ryan Freel the opportunity to play everyday, putting Freel in left, Josh Hamilton in center, and Ken Griffey in right? That way, Freel and Norris Hopper could split time. Wayne Krivsky could also go to the Braves possibly and get a long relief pitcher to help the Reds horrendous bullpen.

I have been having a debate with my friends who play Baseball. I think that baseball is supposed to be about stategy, they think it's all about homers. I looked into "Old Fashioned" baseball, i found that before the early 1900s the baseball was heavier than today's baseball and it was almost impossible to hit a home run. They think that today's game is all about home runs. What do you guys think?

Alright alright. Simple. Red Sox or Yankees? But just for those who were raised in either Massachusetts or New York. It makes more sense. I respect New York, but since I'm from the MA and all, Red Sox all the way. Matzuzaka's ma boy. (Dont know if I spelled that right) My uncle's from the NY and he loves the Yankees and me and him constantly fight about it. Like I said I respect yalls teams and comments. But ya know who I'm with and raised. Peeps tell me who you with?

Would you trade

1-Lastings Milledge-CF/OF-R/R-6-1, 185 lbs, 4/5/1985
He was drafted in 2003, 12th overall, and had considered Juco to play baseball and football, but a $2.075 million signing bonus helped assuage him to pro ball. He is the one proven blue chipper in the organization and is a five tool talent. He has great speed along with a good arm. On top of that, he has quick wrists that allow him to hammer the inside fast ball and hit for good power. He has an excellent glove and can cover a lot of range in the outfield. However, he may have to move to left or right because of a man named Carlos Beltran. A hard worker, Milledge studies his game to improve. He has proven he can hit for average and steal in the minors, but it isn’t known whether he will be able to hit for power. High K percentage in AA. (47/193)

and one more prospect for

Adam Dunn a player who consistantly hits 40 to 50 Home Runs and can swipe 20 bases a year. Shawn Green is aging very quickly.

Why in the heck would Leyland put him into a 2-1 game? He doesn't have his stuff this year and this has been appearant in MOST of his outings. Ugh--I MISS ZOOM!!! :(

Hopefully it was one final shoot to prove himself before he was traded...(to Cleveland--that would help! haha) ? Another suggestion...How about some (AAA) MUDHEN time? I'm so aggravated--we're better then this BS!!!

GO TIGERS!!!
