Who are they?
How much credit do you think a catcher is due for a pitcher's no-hitter?

This page breaks it down very well and shows every no hitter and who caught it.

Catchers have to make a lot of decisions and I give them a lot of credit for no-hitters. Although a pitcher makes the ultimate decision, the truth is it really depends on the catcher...pitchers don't want to shake them off once the 6th or 7th inning of a no-no rolls around.

Look what happened with Curt Schilling last week. He shook of his catcher one out away and bang look what happened. Catchers don't get the credit they deserve.

Ray Schalk caught four no-hitters, but one was taken away from the "official" list. So he's now tied at three with:

Alan Ashby
Bill Carrigan
Charles Johnson
Del Crandall
Ed McFarland
Jeff Torborg
Jim Hegan
Luke Sewell
Roy Campanella
Silver Flint
Val Picinich
Yogi Berra (if you include playoffs)

I'm sure there are many more with two, as well.

I think the right catcher definitely helps a pitcher with pitch selection, so they should get some credit. However, it's ultimately the pitcher who deserves the aplomb for a no-hitter.

I only know of one...Pudge Rodriguez

He caught for Verlander (Detroit) and Rogers (while playing for Texas).

I think the catcher deserves some credit. Credit is spread out from the coach who calls the pitches, to the catcher (more so catchers in high school or on teams that don't have coaches calling pitches), to the pitcher (obviously) to the fielders.
