Alright alright. Simple. Red Sox or Yankees? But just for those who were raised in either Massachusetts or New York. It makes more sense. I respect New York, but since I'm from the MA and all, Red Sox all the way. Matzuzaka's ma boy. (Dont know if I spelled that right) My uncle's from the NY and he loves the Yankees and me and him constantly fight about it. Like I said I respect yalls teams and comments. But ya know who I'm with and raised. Peeps tell me who you with?

Im a Sox fan cuz they win and have fun doing it. They make it look effortless. How often do you see the Yankees having fun. Why arent the Yankees undefeated they have an allstar team and the most money. when was their last world series and how much have they spent on their team since then? Torre will be gone once the Skanks dont make the playoffs this year!

If you have to ask this question.. not only don't you understand the topic -- and you may never accept the right answer.

No team works harder to win, and wants to win, and feels its their mission to win, every game and every year than the NY Yankees. They are a winning machine, since the 1930s. The tradition is magnificent; Old Timers Day is unparalleled. There's MORE of a comparison with the Red Sox to the old Brooklyn Dodgers as a fact -- but then again, not really as Brooklyn changed the game, with Jackie Robinson and Boston was the last team to grudgingly allow a person of color on their roster (ah, the true nature of Red Sox Nation that no one speaks of..).

The rivalry is the best in sports, because of the Little Brother mentality of Boston for 300 years (its a tiny city, too -- that fits into one section of Brooklyn for that matter).

Your answer is Yankees -- but, then again.. people who've been duped that Kerry was Irish for 25 years (and grand-marshalling 2 Boston St. Paddy's Day parades!) will believe anything.

"The MA"? Oy vey. The real people to ask this question of are those living in Connecticut. The fandom boundary cuts across the State, from the northwest corner, through ESPN headquarters (hence my name for the border, the "Bristol Line"), down through Waterbury and New Haven, a city which, because of Yale University's worldwide student body, is kind of a Neutral Zone, much like the Princeton-Trenton corridor and much of the Jersey Shore is between New York/North Jersey fans and Philly fans.

So Matsuzaka (I think that's right) is yuh boy? After two months? A favorite player is someone you watch for a while and know you can depend on. This guy has never gone through a full 162-game season. You have no idea what he's really capable of. He might be great, but the sample is too small.

That's not Yankee Fan smack talk, that's honesty, which, as Yankee Fan Billy Joel taught us, is such a lonely word -- especially in this rivalry. But, as Red Sox fan Steven Tyler taught us, we can still dream on, and when these two teams get together, we don't want to miss a thing.

Hey we can be diehard Yank fans without being from NY as a matter of fact i'm from the west coast. Anyhow i have been a yanks fan since I was about 13 years when they came to Oakland this one time. As for the Red Sux not a fan at all. You can't beat the history the Yankees have they are one of a kind. I think the rivalry is a fun thing and should be kept that way.
