The Cubs are better than they have been in years past. Cubs management has demonstrated they want to win by going after Soriano. I believe they are only a player or two away from a shot at the playoffs. If they don't do it this year, maybe next year. I am a Dodger fan but believe the fans in Chicago deserve a winner because they hang in there with their team every year. Maybe Ernie Banks can live the rest of his life with a smile on his face.

I used to think it was freakin hilarious, but this was back in the '80s when my team (the Royals) were good. The last 2 decades have taught me its really not that funny.
