I dislike the White Sox, mostly becaus Ozzie Guillen is a terrible coach and i hate the way they play baseball. Also, because of the Series when the players got bought off is another reason why people do not like the sox.
The Yankees get a bad wrap, because Steinbrenner doesnt care about paying a luxury tax when he picks his team. This is not fair, because the Yankees roster makes more money than 6 Major League teams combined. Also they have a winning tradition and most teams strive to be where they are.

There was an AP-Ipsos poll last last season, asking for favorite and least-favorite teams. The Yankees won both questions. The poll, unfortunately, is no longer on the Web, but if I recall, the "love the Yankees" population was about 14%, but the "hate the Yankees" population was -- seriously -- 40%. Far and away the biggest segment on the entire poll, and the reason why "Yankees Suck" t-shirts continue to sell well.

New York Yankees. I like the Yankees, but they are definitely the most hated. I hate the White Sox the most.

definetlly the yanks they have by far the highest payroll and just get players based on stats and then if they have a bad year they trade em only people who live in ny like the yankees

Yankees are definitely more comical. How many millions has gone down the drain since they have won a WS?? Too many egos for one dugout. Hated?? Yes, because it's fun.
