Sports - 30 November 2007

I live in Alberta and didn't get Center Ice this season, and I have to say that it's been painful watching these two teams, who are obviously the most heavily broadcast in the province.

I think the Flames are better than their record, but what about the Oilers? Obviously some great young talent, but how long will it take for them to turn it into something? And will Rob Schremp ever contribute in the NHL, or just be another junior star who doesn't cut it at this level?

I honestly think this guy is overrated. I think from now on he will not be as good as he has been. next year he will be 28 and signing him for more than 4 years would be a mistake. Hopefully yankees dont get him because i dont want to give up young talent for a guy who has 3-4 years of ace stuff left. Lets get realistic by the age of 33 he will not have ace stuff. He's good but his fastball which isnt that fast will definetly drop by the age of 33.
I wish all the bad luck to my favorite team yankees so they don't get this guy.
I'm hoping redsox make a mistake and get him.

I just got some new pellets called " rabbit magnums" they weigh 21 grains in .22 but clock in @ a dissapointing 500 fps
Would this be enough to take a rabbit out ??

I know the NHL got on Chris Osgood to get pads the matched the team's colours after he was picked up by the Islanders a few years ago. I know they can be kind of different from the team, especially if the are solid black or solid white. Marc-Andre Fleury's are similar to the colours of the penguins, but a little different. If anyone could help me out on this, I'd really appreciate it.

I remember when I was 18 or 19 years of age, I used to have the ability throw at 90 mph (90 miles per hour), but when I stopped playing for awhile and now I realized at the age of 23 that I am throw 70-75mph. Therefore, I am wondering if it still possibly to throw at 90 or more at my age? (If it is possibly , please acknowlegde the source, such as work plans or video that shows the necessary techniques needed. Thank you!

I recently purchased a Smith & Wesson M&P in 9mm, and I want to carry it as a sidearm when hunting, but I think the max allowable capacity for hunting is 9 total. The magazine currently holds 17. I would like it to be a temporary modification, because they are very expensive mags. Any Ideas?

I used to be a HUGE TO hater when he was with the 9ers and especially the Eagles. Since he's gone to the Cowboys, I've found him to be extremly entertaining. Anyone else have a TO change of heart?

He didn't get on the ballot last year, but people like Jay Bouwmeester and Zdeno Chara did. Gonchar whipped Chara across the board in last year's stats, and Bouwmeester only had a good +/-. And Gonchar wasn't even a nominee for the Norris last year, even though he got 2nd most points among all defensman (67 to Niedermayer's 69). Gonchar has had 50+ point seasons the past seven seasons, Chara's and Bouwmeester's career high is 43. And even though Gonchar is considered an offensive player, he's still got some of the best defensive skill in the league, i'd say, but lo and behold, Chara and Bouwmeester are on the ballot, and Gonchar is not.
