I live in Alberta and didn't get Center Ice this season, and I have to say that it's been painful watching these two teams, who are obviously the most heavily broadcast in the province.

I think the Flames are better than their record, but what about the Oilers? Obviously some great young talent, but how long will it take for them to turn it into something? And will Rob Schremp ever contribute in the NHL, or just be another junior star who doesn't cut it at this level?

Both teams are interesting to say the least this year but for different reason, I think the Flames have the potential of being the better team, should be a lot better than they are currently by a long shot. Not sure if it is chemistry or what but they are seriously under achieving this year. I think Mike's count down timer has started.
Edmonton on the other hand, is a very young team. With excellent prospects for the future. I don't think this will be a playoff year for them, but give these kids (if they can keep them together) a few years and that team could be dynamite!

I know that the Flames are an awesome team, things just aren't clicking and luck just hasn't been there for them. They have had some pretty unlucky breaks. I have to say though that I think mike keenan should start worrying because things aren't looking good for him. I think that maybe there was a reversal. Usually octobers are really really bad for the Flames but this year it was way better than I anticipated. November was usually good, but this november sucked. Look for the Flames to start winning alot the rest of the season!!

actually the oilers games have been gret for the last 2-3. not sure on Robbie.. I usually don't pay attention to him during the game. Being that Souray & Moreau is unfortunately injured.. I've adopted #13 Cogliano as my 'fave'

i think the oilers might just start getting more wins. & be jsut as good or get better than the flames.
