Can Devin Hester get into the hall of fame if he continues to put up monster numbers on special teams but doesn't get much offensive or defensive production?

Also, is there any chance the Bears would trade him.

Given how they've voted in the past, I'd say there's very little shot for him unless he puts up numbers at wideout.

That's not a knock on Hester, who I think is the best return guy I've ever seen. It's just how things tend to pan out in HOF voting.

I do not think that he will make the Hall of Fame for just being one of the best Special Teams players. Even if he averaged 2.0 (punt and kickoff) returns each game. He can break records, but probably won't be picked to be in the HOF.

The Bears might trade him in a year or two.

Hester is going to the hall of fame and all he needs to do is just continue what he has been doing just makin plays. He is a multi-positional player.he can be anywhere from corner, safety, wide out, runnin back and kr and pr.all he has to do is just keep performin the way he is and keep it going for 3 or 4 more years he gonna be in it 5 years after he retires.

he should be in the hall now!

3 returns away from being the greatest return man in the history of the NFL.

He set the return record in his rookie year, and returned an opening kickoff in the superbowl!

The Bears are never going to trade him.

There is a chance that the bears would trade him. You see teams trade their star players so of course he can be traded. And a player that good has to be able to put up good offenseive stats. Hes to good.

He can get into the HOF but needs to put up WR numbers too...and I doubt the Bears will trade him unless he gets hurts.
