I have bagged many rabbits with this gun in .22 with poor pellets weighing just 10 grains .

Of course you can!

SPEED DOES NOT = POWER!!

Your gun is just under 12 ft/lb of energy, a full grown male adult rabbit only needs 4 ft/lbs of energy to the head to kil it.

But i would not shoot a more then 30 meters with it becasue it will have a rainbow like trajectory.

I know i will get thumbs down by some people but if you know a bit about ballistic you will know im right.

Only for a close in shot. Frankly, I wouldn't, the poor characteristics may only injure the creature without bagging. Not a responsible thing for a hunter. Depending on your age and location, consider a lever action, single shot rifle (carbine) that will accommodate the "shooting gallery" type .22 short. The cartridge is small, the powder charge light and the bullet is soft. Much safer than normal .22s. BUT STILL DEADLY EXERCISE PROPER GUN HANDLING. I also assume your hunting is for rabbit stew and not just for killing. We are given Dominion over all creatures on the earth, the price for this Dominion is responsibility. Good hunting!

For rabbits you can do the job easily with something around 500 fps.

At that FPS only with a close range head shot. I wouldn't recommend you use a gun this weak as you are more likely to seriously injure a Rabbit and not make a quick clean kill..

most pellet guns don't have that much fps and they kill a rabbit just fine (as long as you get a head shot). This round should be plenty for a small animal.

i think that you either need a higher fsp on your pellet gun or you need to upgrade to a real .22 or shotgun because you wouldent want to just injure a rabbit i would only use that gun for back yard pest control

It depends on two key factors:distance and weather. If it's far off or humid, it'd be a hard call.
