I'm tired of seeing people use invalid measuring criteria. You can't use wins, as Richard Petty competed in seasons that had many more races. You also can't use championships, as the scoring system is different than it was when Petty and Earndhardt won their 7 Cup titles. Not to mention the competition is much stiffer today than it was in the past.

I can't think of a valid measuring system, and I'm curious to see what ideas you guys come up with!

For example: Dustin Pedroia is a rookie playing for the Red Sox. I believe the Red Sox hold his rights for a period of time, until he's allowed to become a free agent, or the team re-signs him. How does this rule work? How is his salary determined? Do this type of players make the MLB minimum wage?

Answering that, can somebody also tell me the actual contractual status of Red Sox players over the next years?

It's been a long time since the Bills have been on Sunday night football. A few weeks back they were on monday night football for the first time in thirteen years playing Dallas Cowboys with a rookie back-up QB. They would have won if it weren't for the last second (literally) field goal by Dallas. So do you think the Bills could pull it off again? I sure do hope so!

is there another serious contender for the AFC championship?

I know the Steelers are playing pretty hot......but Cleveland did score like 28 on them.....and Denver and Arizona beat them.....so I really don't know a bout them....what do you think?

Basically I started running, and stretch out a bit first, but the muscles around my shins (just generally the front of my lower legs) are really sore. Everything else is tip top, but I have no idea how to stretch out there.

Rashard Lewis and Ray Allen? They were their entire team. They should've at least kept Lewis, even at 15 million per season or whatever he wanted. Also, fire PJ Carlesimo right now. New coach, winless in almost 10 games. The Sonics suck, and the city doesn't deserve them anymore. Maybe it is time for them to re-locate to Oklahoma City, you agree? Seattle has always been more of a baseball and football city anyway. The Sonics haven't really been good since the 90's when Carl was the coach.

How accurate is the Savage 10fp in .308 win? I've only heard good things about this rifle. Would it be suitable for deer (.308)? Also what are the specifications? Weight, length of pull, recoil. And also, when I'm looking online, the stock looks pretty cheap and uncomfortable, does it feel good or is it bad? What kind of groupings can I expect at 100 and 200 yards? What's a good yet cheap scope for this?
