Browning hasn't bought anybody out...... Herstal F/N in Belguim, bought out USRA (Winchester) in 2006 and Winchester owned Browning Arms Company previous to that........

As already stated, Browning didn't buy out anything. What did happen was that the Olin Corporation, who owns the Winchester trademarks (and previously licensed it to the USRAC), has made a deal with Browning to make Winchester brand rifles and shotguns. They will not be made at the New Haven plant (Winchester's plant) because it was closed by the USRAC which is a subsidiary of the Herstal Group (and so is Browning - FN Herstal bought browning in 1977, and Winchester never owned Browning).
