Evidentely, the NHL hall of fame is sponsering a panel that will create the All time, world wide first team.

C: Wayne Gretzky (does he need explanation?)
LW: Richard (have to move him to left wing)
RW: Gordie Howe (Mr. Hockey)
D: Bobby Orr (Number four)
D: Ray Bourque (though stats may not tell the enitre story, the guy was amazing)
G: Partick Roy (Still is the best goalie to ever play)

C: Gretzky ( no career goals, he's still NHL all time scorer w/assists alone)
LW: Tony Espostio ( huge numbers in the 70)
RW" Mario ( move him to RW never played a full season or 1000 games, played 500 games less than Gretzky, if he played a similar career length he would have over 2000 pts)
D: Bobby Orr
D: Paul Coffey
G: Bernie Parent

Gretzky, Howe, Lemieux, Orr, Fetisov and in goal (tie) Hasek, Roy, Tetriak Wayne without question, Gordie because no one was better and tougher, Lemieux, the best big man forward of all time, Orr the best player period, Fetisov because he was the defensive godfather to a nation of great hockey players...Hasek at his best was the most fun to watch..how did he stop that one?? Roy if you had to win one game, and Tetriak who never had an off game.

Are we using ther selections they have narrowed it down to? Or are we using our own
(The reason I ask is that Patrick Roy didn't make the cut for goaltenders and one responder has already used)
