St. Louis Blues brass Andy Murray, Larry Pleau, and John Davidson chose to keep the 2007 first round pick Perron after training camp ended, and he's been a healthy scratch for all but two games this season. On Saturday, Perron only got 4 minutes and 57 seconds of ice time against the Capitals at home in St. Louis. They can use him in 9 games before a year on his pro contract is compromised and then send him down to Peoria; but if they won't let the kid have more than two shifts against the Caps, who cares if he stays on the Blues roster at all? Anybody have a clue as to what head coach Andy Murray might have been thinking?
