Whatever happened to...Steve Larmer?

Another great Blackhawks player, Larmer was on the verge of breaking Doug Jarvis's "ironman" streak. Then Larmer got greedy and wanted more coin, so he was sent packing to New York, via Hartford. He got his Stanley Cup ring in 1994, played during the lockout season, and was never heard from again. What happened?

I wouldn't say he was never heard from again. Larmer jumped from the NHL to the NHLPA however Larmer is currently unemployed and looking for work, a year or so ago he resigned his position within the NHLPA over 'principles' and relaxed for a while. he was here not too long ago but I didn't ask him what he was up to.
