Do you think Coppa Italia, FA Cup, and UEFA Cup are necessary? They should also get rid of soccer in the Olympics. I know it gives smaller teams a chance at silverware. Don't you think they should have salary caps so the big clubs can't buy all the good players from other teams all the time?

I believe too many competitions creates overexposure and makes some not care.

It depends upon what you mean by too many competitions.
For example, while the UEFA Cup and the Champion's League are two separate competitions, no team is competing in both at the same time. (I know, 24 teams that lose in the Champion's League are given a second chance in the UEFA Cup, but they only compete in the UEFA Cup after being eliminated from the champion's league.) So while it is an extra competition, it is not a particularly extra burden.
Likewise, under current rules, the Olympics are essentially a juniors competition (under 23 except for two wild card entries). I think it helps get more players experience for eventual national team play to have juniors competitions.
Finally, the Domestic Cups are traditional with a chance for the underdog lower division teams to have a day of glory competing against the top teams.
No competition is ever truly necessary, but other than maybe reducing the number of Domestic Cups (one should be enough per association) I can't see any that really should be eliminated.

And no, i disagree with both, there are not 2 many competitions and there should be no more big competitions, it is PERFECT the way it is now.Nothing should change about competitions, at least for now.
Yes, im trying to say that u just said everything oposite on what he said, but at the end, we all have our opinion, does not matter do you care just about those competitions there are people who care for other 1 also...

I think there are too many unnecessary club competitions, but the international competitions are all good and should stay. I enjoy the Olympics.
