Yeah, but would REAL red sox fans want him? I'm a die-hard fan for the sox and I have been since 2002 and i know i don't want him! he loves attention and of course couldnt wait to tell everyone what his plan was. i was mad what he did to arroyo in the 2004 alcs! and when they played against the blue jays this year. he just HAD to go and scream and then admit it after the game! what is wrong with him? my dad says that if a-rod does go to the red sox, that i will learn to love him. yea right... sure a-rod had a fantastic year, but his attitude is the worst.

The Red Sox don't need him. What they do need is to not be seduced by this whole Alex Rodriguez drama, and take the steps necessary to secure the third baseman they already have for a few more years.
I trust they'll do what is proper for the team in this instance...

ha ha,I'm not a Boston fan,but not only you don't want him,i don't think the red sox TEAM wants him,especially after that announcement during the ws that he was out.that man coudnt even wait 10 minutes till atleast the game was over.
