I hear a lot of people complain that baseball games are too long. So what?... Most baseball games are played within 3 hours, assuming it doesn't go into extra innings. NFL games take 3 hours as well, and about half of that is advertising.

Baseball is a beautiful sport for one reason. No time limit. You're playing against the other team.... not a stupid time clock. Think about it. There are absolutey no "time-wasting" plays in baseball... because there's no time limit. Nothing is worse than watching 3 kneel downs to end an nfl game. Or watching a player dribble a basketball for 20 seconds without moving.

Now basketball is a game that takes too long. A foul on every play, a timeout between most free throws, not to mention each team gets like 10 timeouts.

Baseball is supposed to take a long time to play. Otherwise they would implement a time limit. But again.. thats the beauty of the game... they dont have to play against a clock.

I like this girl who really likes fishes. I don't have much money, so I couldn't afford to buy the already trained fish from this guy. I ended up getting 2 undomesticated rainbow trouts (cause they are all shiny and rainbowie pretty all over). I am having the girl Gafilta come over later today cause I told her that I have trained ex-circus fishes... Problem! One trout is completely wild, vicious and entirely unapproachable, and the other one, although very friendly, only knows how to swim upside down. What are some really simple tricks I can teach them and FAST. I have about 4 hours.

What's the obsession with trolls on this board? I don't like them either, they piss me off....but really, who cares? There are trolls on every board on Y!A. Worse than here, I might add.
The reason they are here, is because people actually are enraged enough to answer their stupid questions. They feed off of this. You guys need to just understand - if you want them gone, you need to stop acting like you care, and stop answering their questions, and stop reacting to their answers. If they don't get a reaction, they aren't having any fun seeing everyone get pissed off, and they stop posting. It really is as simple as that.
When I see the posts, or inappropriate answers, I report them and be done with it. Posting something in response to one of their idiotic questions or answers just makes us as bad as them.
Please guys...don't let them get to you...you're playing right into their hands.

I have been to many Pro ball parks and find Clevelands Jacobs Field as one of the best. I attended the last All-Star game in Cleveland and it was electric.
The City it self has really come along way.

Even Divison 2 has a playoff system. Almost every year there is some kind of problem about the 2 teams playing in the National Title game.
They say it's ratings and money to have The Bowl Games.
So tell me what you think of my answer to that and tell me how you would do it.
1st. Start the season early by 1 week. at the end of the season choose the 8 best teams in college to play in the Playoffs.
Take the next 18 teams in the Top 26 and give them all bowl games to play ( that would be 9 Bowl games )
Then in the Playoffs, round 1 would be 4 more different Bowl games.
Round 2 would be 2 more Bowl games.
And then the National Title would be the last bowl game.
That would be 16 Bowl games and 8 teams teams playing for it. The Playoffs would only take 3 weeks if you start the season early the extra 2 weeks could be played during Holiday time.(Teams have about 3 weeks before they play there Bowl games anyway ) That would still give them a week home for the Holiday.

Is it realistic to expect the fortunes of the team to increase as a result of adding one very good, famous player? Isn't it unrealistic? They're paying a fortune and Mr. Beckam walks away a lot better off in the bank regardless of what happens to the team. He's got nothing to loose but they could be ruined if there's no positive results.
