Saw this morning on Jayski.com that Nascar is thinking about making the Daytona 500 the last race of the season in 2008 and making the race at Homestead the first. What do you think? To me it is not the same.

It seems a silly question, especially when I know a lot about bikes... but discs are new to me. My new bike came with Hayes Sole brakes and 6" rotors, and frankly the brakes aren't all that great, not the step up I thought hydraulic discs would be. I've read reviews that say the same, one suggested that the best mechanical disc brakes are better now.

So my question - can I keep my rotors, and buy new brakes, or do I need to spend stupid money to get new rotors too? I'm looking at either some Avid Juicys, or possibly Hope Mono, which are in my budget.

I've heard that Frank is facing a suspension for his behavior in the fight against Baroni, some people think it was because of his excessive taunting and motioning he was going to put Baroni to sleep but thats happened in lots of fights it seems pretty obvious to me that it was because he pushed and then kicked Phil Baroni while he was unconcious, it was completely disrespectful and uncalled for. Matter of fact it was so disgusting that you can only see it if you watched it live, it was edited out of the Showtime replay. Yeah Frank dominated Baroni and may have even be injured doing it but he lost all of my respect. I totally agree he should be suspended that kind of behavior in the ring/cage is unexceptable, what do you think?

Give it up. 27 in 07 is never going to happen. The fact of the matter, 27 in '08, '09, '10, or '11 isnt going to happen either. I know I'm gonna get a million posts saying "So what, the Mets arent going to win either" Those are typical Yankee fan answers. I'm not sitting here saying Mets in 07 in every post. They could win or they could not. But they're not 12 games out, so spare me the sarcasm.

For my b-day (september 1st.) i want one thing a yankees game. well i live in kentucky. the closest game is in cleveland aug. 11th. i've put signs up all around the house and BEGGED my dad to take me!! (i'm turning 15 so i can't drive and i'm broke so i cant buy the tickets) He said he would have if we didn't have a family reunion the weekend before the game. one week before the game (saturday) is a family reunion so my dad has to drive 6 hours to michigan for a family reunion then the next weekend 6 hours to cleveland. so he said no. is there any ideas to get me to go??

all suggestions needed. i feel hes giving in some but i still need a definite answer.

We have asked 4 umps and got 2 different answers if you know the result to the play can u please answer this. ok we had runners on second and third. and there was a ball hit to the outfield. the man on third and second both taged they threw the ball home the runner was safe at home and he was safe at third they appealed to second and the ump called him out. one thing i was wondering was y was he watching the man at second instead of the man at third. and u cant watch both. and also he let the run count that scored from third should that run stand? and how can he watch both runners and the ball?

My grandfather once upon a time had a working Mouser .22 Caliber single shot german training rifle. This was a training rifle used to train German Snipers during world war two and he also beleives it was used for training during world war one as well. Anyway, point being. His son, my uncle, ruined the rifle. All he has in usable condition is one of the barrels. He is interested in finding a place to purchase a whole new rifle, or at least the parts needed to refurbish what he has. Anyone able to point us in the right direction?

i'm a student in high school and i'm currently a practicioner of about 4 martial arts styles. one of them is aikido, and most of our techniques are defensive but can be quite dangerous and usually cause injuries (and even sometimes fatal depending on the situation). if i were to be "attacked", so to speak, at school, would self-defense be a logical option?

I now live on the West coast of FL, and people here don't even know about the Devil Rays. (By the way, they are a Major league baseball team in Tampa, Bay). I would like to here from some fans outside of the Tampa area. This would give me some encouragement to get through another loosing season.
