Typically when an athlete breaks a career record, they're at the tail end of their careers and no longer leading the league in that category. However Barry Bonds is leading the league in home runs (as of May 11). Has this ever happened before for a major category in baseball? Other sports?

I'm soooo sick of people acting like Wes Welker is such a HUGE pick up for the Pats, He's a Special Teams guy for Christs sake. I think Jackson is a better third reciever seriously convince me why Welker is so Almighty.

Everyone remembers Earnhardt Sr. driving the #15 Wrangler Ford Thunderbird for Bud Moore. Now Jr. has a chance to repeat history. I think Bud has retired but maybe Jack Roush or Robert Yates or even the Wood Brothers could take Dale on, and maybe get the old #15 for him to drive like his father did in 82 and 83. Bring back the glory days of racing with the #15 Earnhardt Ford. Thoughts?............

Roger is selfish, greedy, arrogant, and self-absorbed. We can see that in the way he handled retirement these past few years and throughou his career. He will sell his service to the highest bidder. He has no loyalty for his team. He has no loyalty for his fans. He will even play a little game with his suitors wait until they are desperate enough so he can squeeze the most out of them.

My question is. Why is Clemens loved by the media, while Barry Bonds, who has the utmost loyalty to his team the SFGiants and their fans, is being treated like a big jerk by the media?

I like to buy a Mosin-Nagant or a Mauser k98, but dont know which one is better. Mosin Nagant is cheap but I heard is also a good rifle. Mauser k98 is also very nice, but it cost a bit more. I would also like to know which gun got more recoil, b/c i dont want any rifle thats more than 30-06 round.

Just switched hobbies from GOLF to fishing. Its cheaper, more relaxing, not as stressful, and wastes more time, lol.

I'm looking to find out some info on trout fishing. I've been reading tons of things online.

Getting night crawlers for bait, on 6lb test line, buying a $30.00 pole, and putting some split shots on it .

Is that going to catch me some fish? or do I need some power bait, a bobber, and an overall understanding of where the fish will be (behind some rocks, to not right the current), etc.

Any other ides to give to a rookie?

The Sabres lost last night in the opening game of the Stanley Cup Conference Finals. A lot of people were picking the Sabres to win in seven games but if they continue to play like they did last night, they can forget about the Stanely Cup. Does anyone see the Sabres picking themselves up and coming out on top or is this the makings of a sweep for Ottawa? I'm rooting for the Sabres since I used to live in Buffalo and I hope to God that they don't break my heart like they did last year.
