I heard that before the 2007 world cup started, a Delhi based news paper wrote that after Bangladesh exits the world cup, Bangladeshi cricket fans will all support Indian cricket team.

Now the table is turned. Fortunately, or unfortunately india is out of the world cup (no offence to indian fans)

Was Bruce saying that he doesn't believe in Judo, Jujitsu, Tae Kwon Doe etc.? In that case doesn't JKD teach some kind of style? Is he saying learn everything and pick what works best? Did Bruce believe in belts if he didn't believe in style?

I'm sure there is variation from school to school. I know some schools do fitting the throw 5 times and throw on the fifth throw. Sometimes it is go work on the throw and throw everytime.

Do Judo schools have any type of thought on how many times the actual throwing should be done. I have to say it is not fun when you are working with someone new and he is throwing you over and over again to learn a move. Especially when the new person can't get it right.

What are the norms at most schools?

I've worn Nike Shox forever, and it's time for a new pair. The Nikes are comfortable for walking, but I find them not so hot for running. My husband and I have recently taken up running/jogging, and we want to buy some true "running shoes." Any suggestions from experienced runners? I have a normal arch in my feet, and pretty normal width, if that matters.

I'm going on a 1000-mile charity tour in france/spain/portugal in summer with 3mates. We're being self sufficient (tents/bags etc) so can anyone with experience recomend which mode of carrying would be better? ta
