The politics going on in Indian cricket is that team selection is made on the basis of regionalism and recommendation and as such deserving players who do not have any influence or nobody to support do not get a chance in the Team.

Interfarence of politician in cricket has made the cricket stand on its worst position. India has richest cricket board, still its players are becoming poorer day by day. I mean come on. Can u recall of any other game played in this country with so much of dictatorships from politician's side ?

Lets try to look at the root cause. Politicians from different areas promote the cricketers of their areas. May i know how is the area related to performance? We recently had a shameful defeat in World Cup. Y? U think in this country with 100 crore + population, we dont have any nice cricketer ? WRONG. Its just that we lack the oppurtunities of giving platform for exposure for talent to normal public. All thanks to our good for nothing politicians which lack doin their actual duties tat is serving public n have time for evry other thing, especially being in glamourous world.
