The A.L. West throws Oakland in the playoffs every year to get whipped on in round 1. Texas is always a non-factor. Anaheim is nothing superb. Seattle is a joke. Now take the East...The Yankees have the most serious starting pitching issues they have been faced with in 12 years...nobody in that rotation scaes anyone. Same with Boston. Toronto may surprise alot of teams this year...D-Rays should be exported. With that said...The American Legue Central is without a doubt the most dominating division in MLB. Twins starting pitching is questionable...Indians bullpen,even improved as it is,is questionable... Chicago and Detroit seem to be two teams that you don't know what you will get from--Detroit has pressure of repeating-Chicago has age-and starting pitching issues. But at days end they all still stand out from threst of the league--Thome,Hafner,Mauer,Vic Martinez,Ivan Rodriguez,Sheffield,Konerko,Sizemore,Buerhle,Sabathia-just to name a few -can the east or West compete with these teams

A letter from a hockey fan named "clueless_nerd", has reached your desk. It contains the usual stuff you have long since decided to ignore about how suspensions for stick-swinging are not long enough and the 3rd point for reaching overtime is absurd. But it does have an intriguing idea.

The proposal is that when a team is penalized for 2 minutes, it should have the OPTION (the penalized team) of having a penalty shot taken against it instead. The writer points out that while usually a team would not want to do this, when they are behind by a goal with a minute to play, or several goals, they would be forced to. Now what about the case where they are behind by a goal with FOUR minutes to play? This fan, named "clueless_nerd" claims it will add a badly needed element of strategy and second guessing to the game.

For example, on Saturday there was only one Midwest regional game and today (Sunday) there are three. The same holds true for the Eastern region - one game today and 3 yesterday. It is interesting that the NCAA plays the same total number of games on each day, but is not balanced within the regions. Anybody know why? Is it a TV or venue issue?

I remember what happened to Monica Selles when she was stabbed by an obsesed fan. I went once to see Maria's match & i was shocked to see how many fans are obsesed with her(men & women) & willing to jump the fence ,if they could . Hello, i started skating lessons just a few weeks ago and i was really really enjoying it at the start. Today i had a lesson and i dont know why really but i feel quite disheartened. I felt good about todays lesson because i had been practising all week so i knew i was able to do the tasks we had to perform, but i got onto the ice and it felt like i couldnt skate at all, i dont know whether the ice was more slippery, i had to change my rental skates twice because they were totally blunt (much to the annoyance of the skate hire girl..oops) but it felt different today anyway. I learned some new techniques which i picked up quick so its not that im not interested and i dont want to do it but maybe i feel like i cant do it. I also feel as though the instructor doesnt really teach us, just shows us and we copy. Ive had in mind some skates i want for a while but now i think maybe i shouldnt bother getting them, what should i do, should i give up or just consider this a bad day???

There's a guy at my school who keeps hitting me, and pinching and poking, and pulling and the like. He's leaving big bruises and swellings all over me, and i wanna make him stop. I've told him that its not funny and that it hurts, but he doesn't think there's anything wrong with it, and keeps laughing and still continues. I'm looking to do soemthing that will hurt him, but not cause any permanent damage. I've kicked him somewhere on his side, and he let go, and was winded so ended up crouched over, but its really not an effective technique considering how its not particularly easy to execute. If anyone knows any simple but painful defence techniques that will stop him doing it, please tell me. I'd appreciate it.

I'm thinking the Browns. They spent a lot of money in free agency and picked up some good guys. I don't think they'll win their division (Bengals will), but they will be the most improved and they won't have a losing season.

Paul London has been in the wwe for like four years. He's had the WWE Tag Team Championship with Kendrick for almost a year. Yet he still can't get a match at WM. wtf is up with that? I saw the replay against Haas when he claimed his foot was injured. He wanted time off to regroup ,rethink his game & make Haas go easy on him.

My dad started using it, so I tried it as well. It really seems overly sticky to me, somewhat of an over kill. One thing for sure it holds the grip tight, but somewhat harder to uses because of the stickyness. What other tapes are out there that will provide the same holding power as stukontapes tiger grip????
