If you don't know the model name (maybe the decal is missing), you can turn the bike over and look at the serial number (a combination of letters and numbers) stamped in the bottom bracket shell of the bike (right where the crank arms attach). Contact Specialized at www.specialized.com, and email them with the serial number. They should be able to tell you the model name and year with this information.
