I am looking to study Judo at home and wish to buy some dvds that I can study along with taking a class. It would be just some extra training that I could study outside the class and later try it in class. Does anyone have any suggestions?

In movies and TV 2 guys are fighting and one grabs the other's head, rears back, and BLAM! Knocks him silly. The thing is, based simply on physics, it should hurt him as much as the guy he hits! Is this a real fighting move or something fight choreographers invented?
