Cheerleading HELP?

OK! I'm am SOOO nervous, because my school's cheerleading tryouts are in a MONTH away, so PLEASE help me! First, please give me tips for the tryouts. I can only do a cartwheel and a roundoff. I've tried doing a back bend, but I can't seem to kick over! So tips on back bend and back hand spring. Also, I can do jumps on the tramplone perfectly, but when I try on the ground I can't cause I can't get high enough! That's probably the thing I'm most concerned about. AND I can almost do the splits all the way down, but how can I go ALL the way. I can do a heel in the pool, but I can't do it on the ground! OMG sry for all of this, but I just wanta make it SOOOO badly!!! THANKS!

What is your favorite Benny Parsons memories?

In respect of the passing of Benny Parsons today (1/16/07), what is your best memories of BP? The first time I've heard of his name is when I built the 1/24th plastic scale model kit of his #72 KINGS ROW Chevelle, although he had already Won the 1973 NASCAR Championship, very little news was given to Auto Racing at the time. I can still remember the MRN radio broadcasts naming the leaders of the race, "Pearson, Parsons, Petty". We will certainly miss his latest quote, "Que the Duck!". My thoughts and prayers go to the Parsons family.

Do you think it would be possible for me to get my mile run down to 5 minutes by fall?

I was training for track in high school and i was doin real good. until it got cold. and i hate running in the cold. any way my mile run was 8 min and 30 seconds. i started training in september and i was just doing it in gym class maybe 2-3 times a week. when i started i was running the mile in 10 and and it was november when it was 8 min 30 secs. i was eating healthy too. but i lost my composure and just started scarfing down all the foods i was doing so good at avoiding. and i haven't run since november : ( so i'm positive that i suck now. i need help with better eating habits and maybe suggestions on how i can get my mile to 5 minutes or less

chris webber a liability?

He's made it pretty clear that he cares more about playing time than wins and still expects to be the star, so he's not going to be very happy when he ends up being the fourth or fifth option on offense. At his age, the best thing for him would have been to accept a reduced role with the mavs or spurs, instead of going for stats on a slightly above average team.He has not helped any team since he came back from a knee injury. In fact, the kings fell from first to fourth after webber came back to the team three years ago, so he might even hurt the team if he starts. Even though he might still be able to score, the sixers actually got worse after acquiring him, going from the playoffs to the lottery, due to him being a liability on defense and lack of quickness. Why do you think other teams did not pursue webber as aggressively by guaranteeing him a starting job?
