Does lifting weights affect shooting in basketball? Is there a proper way to lift weights and practice shooting to get maximum benefits of lifting weights without affecting your shot?

I am at work and I work with four guys and me...well they guys seem to think Emmitt is soo gay for dancing with Stars..they say a football player should not be dancing like that...what do you think?

What are people's opinions on the all-star game determining home field advantage?

I think it's appaling. It's an exhibition game for crying out loud.
Best record should determine it, IMO. Baseball claims it would be too difficult to schedule it like that,but NBA and NHL do it, so why not?

Anyway, what do other people think?

I know that softball is a girl sport, and I accidently bought a softball glove which I thought was a baseball glove. I didn't realize until it was too late and now I can't return it. So, my question is whether it would be weird for a guy to play catch with a softball glove because if it is, I can go and buy a baseball glove.

Present day likely contenders are Boise State, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Florida, Arkansas and Rutgers. Going in to the 11th and 12 game now, what is your best guess? If one relied on stats only, Boise State would win out. However, Notre Dame would be my preferred choice, and Arkansas wishful thinking. They still have to get by LSU's Russell's passing arm. Ok, so in my league we start 2 QBs, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 Def

My kicker and my Defense I change every week by matchups on the waiver wire. But here is the rest of my team

QB: Peyton Manning
QB: Donovan McNabb
RB: Brian Westbrook
RB: Stephen Jackson
WR: Donte Stallworth
WR: Javon Walker
WR: Dante Hall
TE: Marques Colston (I love how he is listed as a TE on Yahoo...)

The basic points rundown:
1 completion = 1 pt
Every 5 yds = 1 pt (for QB RB + WR + Return yards, so QBs get most points in the league)
TD = 7 pts
INT = -5
Fumble = -10
Reception = 1

my team averages over 400 pts a week, we've been playing by these stats for 3 years now and my team is the first one to go 400 points in back to back games. Before this year we've had two 400 point games in the previous 2 years. This year we have 5 (4 by me)...anyone else got any amazing teams?

And then also india lost against them.
Jaffer - 5, Sachin - 5, Dhoni - 7, Mongia - 0, Raina - 0.
What the hell is top and middle order doing ?
We believe Sachin and Dhoni are key players for the team.
But what @ Jaffer, Raina, Mongia. Is this for what they have been taken ?
