For me, it has to be Pele - for the things that he have done for football, being an ambassador to the game, and all, even while already retired. He had never lost the passion for the game , on the pitch and off it.
Maradona & George Best, skillfull as they might be, would have lost my votes due to the many disgraces they have put themselves through.
Zidane, had just recently retired, and time will tell how he fares in his years ahead.
Until then, Pele will get my vote!
