Present day likely contenders are Boise State, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Florida, Arkansas and Rutgers. Going in to the 11th and 12 game now, what is your best guess? If one relied on stats only, Boise State would win out. However, Notre Dame would be my preferred choice, and Arkansas wishful thinking. They still have to get by LSU's Russell's passing arm. What's your take?

MK uses the old ruse of calling attention to himself "a bonafide know it all" by accussing someone else of exactly what he is guilty of" while at the same time identifying himself as a football addict.
Not being a football junkie, I *** u med that this game was won on a logical basis, and oblvious to the neocons' BS, or was it BCS. LOL
So, if the BEST MAN isn't the top dog in BS, BCS football, perhaps someone out there would be so kind as to inform us on their scoring method. I am certainly in the dark here. This is only my second season ever watching this fun sport.
I actually HAD (still do) a life before football, but this year it caught my attention when underdog Arkansas came out of the woods as an unlikely candidate to win anything. They have been for so long now, always guilty of shooting themselves in the foot, despite good players on the team. Someone finally told them the secret to winning each game: focus on one game at a time. Experience has show this to work.

to crazy you are wrong on the sugar bowl,, they would play in the rose bowl if they lost to michigan,,
who ever wins this game between mich and ohio state, will go to national championship game,, loser will go to rose bowl,, michigan beat wisconsin and their big ten season is over ,,
hard to say who would be the opponent,,but if ohio state wins the big ten and stays #1 and florida wins the Sec,, florida would move to #2 in the polls, and i think thats how the championship game would turn out to be
ohio st vs florida,, and if michigan wins,, it would be michigan vs florida !!! if florida doesnt win the sec,, then its a toss up,, !!!
dont think theyd have a notre dame/ michigan rematch,, but if they did that would be cool,, if michigan wins,, michigan kicked their butts earlier in the year like 49-28 or something,,,
you definitely wont see boise st in there but thats a good thought
this is why div 1A college football needs a playoff system,,but probably never will,, its all dollar driven !!
every other level has a playoff system and seeds their teams and they do playoffs to decide the eventual champion,,
the NCAA will need to look into it because this BCS crap is becoming useless and over complicated and is not working out at all

I don't. For that match up alot of hurdles have to be jumped. First. USC has to pray Oregon state losses another game. They just beat Arizone state this week. The only challenging teams left they got left are at home. Secondly, Ohio State has to beat a resurging North western team that just beat Minnesota on the road. Third, Ohio State needs Penn State to get invited to the NC game, Which will need alot of help from the Big 12 and SEC. My guess, is that Penn State will play USC in the Rose Bowl.

actually, if Ohio loses to Michigan, they will be considered the big ten representative, so they go to the rose bowl
the most likely would be one from pac 10, either USC or Arizona or oregon
but IF USC wins rest of its games, they would play the BCS bowl
in that case, it is very likely it would be notre dame or Florida

If you are talking Ohio St., then they will be in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl which is the BCS Championship Game. However if they lose the game against Michigan, they will be in the Sugar Bowl.
