You would have to be known. You would need to play on a college team and be able to be scouted. If you are good enough, an NFL team might want to draft you.

play college football. get a agent, it's them who get you known to the scouts. if you don't get drafted. you can become a Undrafted Free Agent just like willie parker from the steelers.
