no, he is not. he is using his fancy footwork on the dancefloor instead of the field. and tell your guys that once they play for 15 yrs. in the nfl and run for 18,000+ yds, most rushing tds ever, mvps, and they turn down the offer because its gay, then i guess dancing is gay, untill then, no.

No I don't think he's gay for dancing with the stars. But I do believe Jerry Rice will be coming out of the closet in a year or two. He's a little too flamboyant outside of the dance studio. I don't think Emmitt would have done the show if Jerry didn't frist. But in defense of your co-workers the outfits DO NOT fit the profile of a former football player, maybe a club hoppin' hairdresser.

Are you kidding. Emmitt lays more pipe than your local sewerage and water board. Did you get a good look at his partner and besides, what woman doesn't like a man that can dance. Also, the dancing sure keeps him in shape. I thought it was pretty cool. The fact that he was a HOF football player doesn't make him less of a man. Most men would have to be envious of the dude. More power to him.

I don't think he's gay for being on DWTS. His athletic ability and nimbleness shows he is much more talented than just being a running back in the NFL.

I heard of this before, but was reminded of this the other day on the Preston and Steve Show on WMMR. A lot of NFL players take dance classes to help in agility. So, Emmitt winning wasn't a stretch of the imagination, and wasn't "gay".

Just because a male athlete, or any straight guy for that matter, is good at dancing, doesn't mean he's gay. Dancing is an art form that is also a good pastime and form of exercise. If you have the passion for dancing, then by all means enjoy the music and the groove. It also won't hurt one bit if you have a hot, nubile woman for a dance partner. IMO, maybe your male officemates are just jealous of Emmitt's success both in the gridiron as well as the dancefloor.

I think Emmitt showed he is comfortable with his manlyness.
Tell the guys you work with not to hate.Did they see his wife and
family supporting him all the way. There is no way any would think
he is gay unless they are just jealous. We all already knew Emmitt
is coordinated and quick on his feet.I think he showed us all that
he is a great athlete in more ways than just football.I'm sure his
wife can't wait to get out on the dance floor with him. It's a big turn
on for a lady to dance with a man who knows how to move.I bet
he can't wait to show her what he can do!My husband and boys
thought it was cool and we don't even care for the show Dancin With the Stars, but we did watch it because of Emmitt.

No he is not, he has his kids, and when he danced, he looked masculine, not gay, and remember, Jerry Rice was on last season and he won second place, he is also not gay.

i'm wondering what football player will be on the next season, maybe Marcus Allen, he is next on the list of most touchdowns, after Jerry and Emmitt

I think your co-workers are worried a bit too much about that. Does that mean any guy who's a good dancer is gay?

Seems like you need to hang out with a better class of people.

No. There are alot of famous male dancers. It's no different than a woman dancing. It's all about celebrities dancing. I give them credit for doing so. They're dancing with pros.

The women need partners, and certainly not another woman to dance with.
