In 1978, ABC's Wide World of Sports aired a challenge match between Willie Mosconi and Minnesota Fats. Mosconi had heard enough out of Fats and wanted to show the world what real pool playing was all about. It was one of the highest rated sporting events of the year. I believe that only a few events achieved higher ratings, such as the Super Bowl, World Series, and the Ali Vs. Spinks bout. I know that ESPN Classic aired another match between Mosconi and Fats which took place a few years later ('82 I believe) in Charlie Ursitti's tournament. My question is whether anyone might know where I can find of copy of the '78 match. M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.

I've been offered Reuben Droughns for Corey Dillon in a trade? What do you think of this deal? I worry about Droughns' shoulder and the fact that he plays for the Browns, but I also worry about Dillon's age and the split of carries with Maroney. Which back has the better upside? I've also got Steven Jackson, Warrick Dunn and Jamal Lewis on my team, so I'd only count on Reuben for a flex spot in my league.

So I just watched Taladega nights last night and I was just blown away by the amount of people 180,000 at a NASCAR event. I'm not sure if I'll ever go, but could someone accurately describe the live Nascar experience. Does it get boring? What else is there to do? How long is it? What is the traffic like leaving an event that big?

Suprise Suprise. . . another highly touted SEC team (FLORIDA) bit the big schwantz today. . . . why are Florida, Auburn and Georgia SO DAMN over rated every year? They all stink! Jeckly and Hyde teams that can't play smash mouth football. All I ever hear is how the great athletes in the SEC make them better than the rest of the country. . . yet every year they get beat to submission by tough neck football teams. Look at Auburn last year when they got DESTROYED by Wisconsin in a bowl game. SEC teams always are over rated and almost NEVER live even close to their hype! Can you imagine one of these pansy SEC teams facing MICHIGAN, OHIO STATE, WISCONSIN, and PENN STATE? THEY WOULD BE A GROUP OF WALKING WOUNDED!
