Well there are a combination of things... The most obvious is practice. Learn to read players better and how to anticipate their next move and be ready to swipe the ball. The other thing you can do that is extremely boring, but well worth it is to shadow box. Make sure you can see your hand's shadow clearly on a wall or even ground (wall is better) and try to move faster then your shadow. I know it sounds a bit like trying to bite your own ear, but trust me it works! Don't just try it 2 or 3 times, spend 15-20 minutes a day or so on it. It was proved that some of the fastest boxers in the world (Rocky Marciano for instance) could move their hands faster then their own shadow. It was said to be pretty much impossible to tell by looking with the naked eye, but on film and slowed down (with the help of tracking and timing the frames) that his hands actually moved faster then his shadow by a TINY TINY TINY amount.
