I think that everyone needs to watch this video at least once. If you do, please leave your comments and be honest - does a song and/or video like this affect your views either way? Or do you still believe the same thing you did before?

After going through some of the other questions centered around vampires i was unable find any that refered to or connected with the idea of "spiritual vampires" .

Those who feed off of the life forces , energies of other humans around them.
Here key word is feed off of, I have come in contact with some lately that if they can not feed off of the emotions, feelings, and life sources of others,

Fear, hate, love, laughter,
Obviously seperate catagories.

What I am looking for is INPUT from you guys as to whether there are vampires who live off of other humans around them . To what degree.

I know that we live in a world where" it is eat or be eaten. Some do not believe that.

So i look forward to your input and interest.
You can also email me at my personal email.
jonasenterprises@sbcglobal. net.
for the more private and personal inputs.
THANKS .

There seems to be a general trend that scientists are more likely to be atheists....

The only explanations I can think of are --

(1) Atheists tend to be drawn to scientific fields.

(2) Theists tend to avoid scientific fields.

(3) Scientific understanding, knowledge, or method breeds atheism.

Which do you think it is? Another possibility? Why?

The original scrolls that are the base of the bible are compiled of a library of books. When someone asks why dont you believe a book that contradicts itself, it is evident then that they are uneducated. They do not realize the reason it does not contradict, is that it was compiled of thousands of books and all the contradicting ones were thrown out. So I ask why do so many take one book, compiled so tediously and with only the information allowed, so literally.

Albert Enstine (however it's spelt) said that Energy does not die. It can only change form. He said that to prove the after life. Well animals are also energy. So they can't die. They can only change form too, right?

Some people are really big and some people are really small. Some creatures are so small that they can fit in the palm of my hand. What size is the soul? Does it grow with the body?

that makes belief in and love for Jesus (pbuh) a condition of membership (Islam)

While loving and praising the only religion which makes disbelief in Jesus a condition of membership (Judaism)

I'm not suggesting they should hate Judaism but the discrepancy is baffling

Okay, so I'm not much of a religious person. I have my own beliefs, and that's my deal. But I don't understand why people pray for such petty things sometimes. Someone on Yahoo Answers asked everyone to pray that some girl forgives him because she is mad at him. I was sick and in pain a couple months ago, but it was nothing life-threatening, and people were "praying" for me. I just think there are more important things to pray for than things like that. What's your opinion? I'd like to know. Thanks.

The Jewish Calendar says that this is the year 5768. From what major event is this measured?

Has any group ever pushed for a new calendar measure date starting from a different (newer or older) year?

I am a practicing Catholic. I have read a great deal of the Bible, and some of the doctrines held by the Catholic Church perplex me. While I can appreciate the symbolism of receiving Communion and confession and going to mass, I have never read in the Bible where Jesus asks us to regularly do these things. I know most Catholics will say that the Church is passed down from Peter, but it seems somewhere along the lines Jesus' message has been lost and more emphasis has been on following the Church and its doctrines rather than what Jesus asks of us.

he comes home with blatant christian teachings which of course have no proof but will also not give up which teachers are "witnessing" to him

we have to sit him down and deprogram him all the time, show him that what they are telling him is an opinion, even if popular, is not necessarily to be his

my kid's religion or lack of it is my business...

I don't see much of anything else that sustains god belief in an otherwise educated society.
Everyone I know who believes in a god was raised that way.

If we could somehow stop getting kids hooked on it, would that lead toward the demise or lessening of religion?

Or is it a phenomenon that will always exist in society no matter what?

"it's hard to stay mad, when there's so much beauty in the world. Sometimes I feel like I'm seeing it all at once, and it's too much, my heart fills up like a balloon that's about to burst... And then I remember to relax, and stop trying to hold on to it, and then it flows through me like rain and I can't feel anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid little life... You have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm sure. But don't worry... you will someday. "

I have spent the my life in search of the truth. I have felt the spectrum of emotion until I've felt gray inside. This pursuit of mine has left me confused and weary. Yet there are moments where I find pure knowledge and bliss when I emerge from the confusion. Just like the quote above, I tried so desperately to cling on to all the beauty at once and just like sand falling through a clutching hand I felt weak again. Yet through all this struggle I have realized something. Something that doesn't need words...

My boyfriend and I did and we didn't know wether to laugh or cry. It was horrible. Brainwashing kids. Telling them there is no other option beyond believing in god. Telling them that Harry Potter is a book of sin. implying that homosexuals should be put to death. Threatening them that if they do anything thats a "sin" even once, they will be sent to hell. And what got me the most... teaching them there is no global warming and even if there were, there's no reason to care about it because God will end the earth the way he wants it to end. It went like this "Cut down the tree's, pollute the air and use up all the oil". Now if this is not sick, then I don't know what is. I'm trying to figure out what in **** is wrong with the parents that send their kids to these places. If they honestly think that using today's youth will turn America into a christian only nation, they are horribly wrong.. I stand strong amoung the other atheists. Other opinions?
