We are all capable of it

Well, there tolerance in Western cultures. It is a different thing than acceptance. It is about the best we can hope for.

That will happen only if one of the following occurs:
1) All religions now believe that they are not the only "true" path.
2) All people disbelieve all religions.
In my opinion, neither will soon happen.

It depends on your understanding of tolerance. I might disagree with you, and even think your ideas will take you where it is very hot, (which, if I do, I might feel moved to attempt to explain things to you in a different light), but when all is said and done, I support your responsibility to make your own choices. Is that tolerance?

I like the idea, but, no, I cannot imagine the religious zealots ever being truly tolerant of other people's beliefs (or lack there of).
ADD: That is the problem with any univeralistic religion: If their religion says that they are the ONLY right way, then they cannot follow their religion AND be tolerant.

Were you born yesterday.
Yes, when the Lord come with shout and take those who belong to him.
James 1:27
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
