My boyfriend and I did and we didn't know wether to laugh or cry. It was horrible. Brainwashing kids. Telling them there is no other option beyond believing in god. Telling them that Harry Potter is a book of sin. implying that homosexuals should be put to death. Threatening them that if they do anything thats a "sin" even once, they will be sent to hell. And what got me the most... teaching them there is no global warming and even if there were, there's no reason to care about it because God will end the earth the way he wants it to end. It went like this "Cut down the tree's, pollute the air and use up all the oil". Now if this is not sick, then I don't know what is. I'm trying to figure out what in **** is wrong with the parents that send their kids to these places. If they honestly think that using today's youth will turn America into a christian only nation, they are horribly wrong.. I stand strong amoung the other atheists. Other opinions?

i did no longer see it final night yet have considered it on youtube. definite it is totally irritating however the programme got down to be merely that. meaning you purely see the edited low factors. All religions pontificate in the same way although in Jesus Camp they appear as if severe. in case you have an pastime in the brainwashing that is going on in organised faith, circulate alongside to an Alpha direction. those are run in the process the rustic on a known foundation. be careful which you're an observer and not going to be taken in.

I am an evangelical Christian, a mother, and very sane. Although their approach was a little intense for little ones, the overall message is true. I would send my children to that camp. Although maybe hearing that your favorite story book character (Harry Potter) is not in line with Christian values may be sad, it is the truth. Although we are not to be rude or unwelcoming to anyone, it would be a lie to say that homosexuality and abortion are ok.
Ultimately, although there is technically a separation of church and state, that law is only here on earth and is man made. God doesn't believe that. His law is most important and he wants every nation to be under his law, not national law of government.
This is all assuming that you're a christian of course. If you're not, then this wouldn't seem relevant to you, but if you call yourself a christian, you should be fighting, so to speak, to stand up for Christ.

When that FAT lady said ..."There are fat lazy Christians in this world", it summed up that entire program, she was daring them to call her fat, and ALL of those kids knew if they said that they would have been in big trouble.
They are a fringe group.
They reflect what is happening with politics in America, more than religion, in my opinion.
I hope they follow up on what ends up happening to the kids.

The worst part for me was when that "horrid excuse of a pastor woman" was taking about Islam and how they give their children guns to fight for what they believe in. And how she wants to make these kids warriors for Christ and justifying by saying "We have the truth" Christs army of 5 -15 year olds. What a sick, twisted nightmare. That is child abuse, that is wrong, that is the worst excuse for destroying souls I have ever had the displeasure of hearing and seeing. The saddest thing is those parents believe they are doing the right thing for their children.
Peace to you.

What is wrong with the parents for sending the kids there to begin with? Unless they just didn't know what they were getting in to.
Pentecostal - that explains it.

I actually saw it on DVD months ago. I feel genuinely sorry for the children forced to endure this nonsense. Not only will it handicap them for life (and you're right - it's a danger to our planet and the rest of us) -- it's bound to cause some of them to become crazy fanatical in a suicide bomber or David Koresh kind of way.
But as with all extreme indoctrination -- it's going to backfire. My guess is that 1/4 of the kids (if not more) that were forced to attend that camp will be non-Christians by the time they're 30.

I for one, would like to keep this world we live on a little while longer. How does a parent feel when a child doesn't take care of their toys? Would not god feel the same for our planet? It's just plain sick.
Sad I missed it. Will it be on again?
