First my friend, Christians don't hate or despise the PEOPLE, only disagree with the religion of Islam. As far as I know, Islam does not recognize Jesus as the only Son of God, and further also as part of the triune God. We believe that Jesus sacrificed Himself to make atonement for our sins; that is, to make a way that we can approach, pray to, and be heard by God.

Islam believes that Allah is so far above all other god's, that it is impossible to even approach him. Further, Islam teaches to "kill the infidels" (non-believers is Islam.) Christianity is not a violent religion like this. Islam may not be taught like this in most places in America, but it certainly is in the Arab world.

Christians have an affinity for the Jewish people because we worship the same God, Yahweh. We do think that the Jewish people are mistaken by not recognizing Jesus Christ as the messiah, but that is not a reason to reject them - rather we pray for them.

To be a Christian means being like Jesus, imitating him. He hated noone. Those who hate are false Christians, and should not be confused with true Christians.

Not all Christians. I personally feel that Christians have more in common with Muslims, but I don't hate any person or any religion. Most Jews would tell you that "Christians" historically have treated the Jews terribly, and ignored their religious roots in the tradition of Abraham. People are very ignorant sometimes. They know what their parents told them and don't try to understand any more than that.

Such a sweeping generalization does nothing but weaken understanding of other beliefs. Instead, you are furthering animosity and fallacies.

Some reasons follow

1) Killing people who leave Islam kind of turns us off

2) Treating women as second class citizens and teaching that beating them is OK also turns us off

3) Cutting off peoples limbs for stealing is also disgusting

4) Jews did not fly a plan into the WTC in NY

5) Jews did not cause the London subway bombings, or the Madrid bombings, or the Scotland bombings, or the Beslan massacre etc

6) Jews do not restrict religious freedoms

7) Jews do not riot and kill people and destroy property because of cartoons

8) Jews did not put a woman in prison because she named a Teddy Bear a name they did not like

9) Jews did not sentence a rape victim to 200 lashes

etc

Get the picture?

I think most Christians don't know much about Muslims. In countries like the USA, there are more Jews than Muslims. We can see Jews, know them, meet their families, do business with them, and generally decide that, as a people, they're the same as everyone else. The low Muslim population leaves all we know about them up to media. Since the only things we hear are the tragedies caused by extremist crazies, a lot of Christians assume they're all like that. They have no other reference. Even when they hear stories in our own country about crazy Christian extremists, there are still lots of Christians we *know* that aren't like that, to counter any assumptions.

Basically, it's ignorance.

I don't think you are trying to stir things up but your choice of words is baffling to me.
Part of the teachings in the bible is to love your neighbor that's the part I understand.

Please don't confuse true Christians with the closed minded fanatics who use the name of Jesus to spread their own agendas. True Christians who try to live their lives according to Jesus' teachings would not quickly judge others.

probably because Christians still hold the Jewish Bible to be part of their faith, while rejecting Quran of Islam. Islam to them is just another a heretical sect I suppose.

Any religion that claims to be the only way to God is a lie.

Judaism does not claim to be the only way, nor do they believe in any imaginary hell.
