Christian theology says that Jesus Christ has ETERNALLY been the Son of God, that he was not created. Jehovah's Witnesses say that Jesus Christ was the firstborn. What does the Bible say? And if a religion has a false take on Jesus Christ, can they legitimately claim to be Christians? What would Christ say?

Since there was no bible or commandments how did these people know they were sinning? Shouldn't people know they are doing wrong before you kill them all?

Is your bible only made up of the NT?
Do you just pretend that the OT isn't there?
How would one say the OT is rubbish but the NT is truth.

read even if you don't believe in God

If you notice God has an enemy and he's the Devil! As a Christian we supposed to resist Satan, because he's trying to take us down, he's always trying to destroy us as followers of Christ! and his Job is to deceive people like you!

How come other "religions" don't have Spiritual enemies! for instance Budda, Allah, or Wiccans! don't have Spiritual Enemies! We Fight Against evil!

you can see this principle everywhere, There's always an enemy! you can see it in Movies, cartoons, Stories , even in Real and personal Life.

So God does make sense!, the Bible says God is Good! and he has an enemy which is the Devil! the whole point of the Spiritual World is a battle!

What do you think!

By making the sheeple believe that fearing this hate filled god is the beginning of wisdom, they made sure that they would never dare to think independent thoughts.

People keep saying that I have no understanding of evolution well I think most of you don't even know the definition. Evolution has two definitions one is Microevolution which is a change in variation (fact) and the other is Macroevolution which is a lie. On Wikipedia they give this example "the appearance of feathers during the evolution of birds from one group of dinosaurs." This is not possible. No transitional fossils have been found and they never will. If there were ever some animals that slowly changed into a bird then it would have a half stage where it has half feathers and half scales. This animal would be rendered helpless and starve to death. Some people even say that thousand of microevolutions make up a macroevolution which is just stupid. People are so blind now days with this stupid evolution theory.

If the government wants seperation of church and state-

Since we can't pray to God, can't Trust in God and cannot post His Commandments in Government buildings, I don't belie ve the Government and its employees should participate in the Easter and Christmas celebrations which honor the God that our government is eliminating from many facets of American life.
I'd like my mail delivered on Christmas, Good Friday, Thanksgiving & Easter. After all, it's just another day.
I'd like the US Supreme Court to be in session on Christmas, Good Friday, Thanksgiving & Easter as well as Sundays. After all, it's just another day.
I'd like the Senate and the House of Representatives to not have to worry about getting home for the "Christmas Break." After all it's just another day.

Do you agree or disagree and why?

I am starting to think that God can be reached through all religions and even without religion. Most religions are based on similar principles. I think that an authentic yearning to find God or to do right by God is the true path and it is reached by people of all religions, and even people without religion.

Look at his diet.

pure sugar and carbs.

if he did exist he lived off milk and cookies and was grossly obese.

isn't it possible he used to bring gifts to a list of girls and boys all across the wolrd- sliding down a tiny chimney because he was a christian saint but died because of poor eating habits?

wouldn't that story be a much better story to tell children to caution them on the dangers of obesity and diabetes rather than telling them he is "jolly"?

why not tell the kids how santa had heart disease and possibly stomach cancer and had problems walking up a flight of stairs.

and the reason he had to live in the north pole was because it was the only place he could walk ten feet outside without grossly prespiring?

maybe jesus was just feeling a little left out at that time of year and kinda wedged himself into the season.

i do believe the sun god is born at that time, not the son of god.

what do you think? or maybe it doesn't matter, as long as we are spending time with our families and showing good will to our fellow (wo)men

After years of pessimism and being beaten down (metaphorically) by myself and others, my wife has asked me to change, and in looking for a way to change we have come across The Secret, which is about basically asking "the universe" for what you want, and being more positive about it.

So instead of believing that every signal light will be red, just believe that as you approach the light will change to green. After trying this for a while things are suppose to change within your life.

I am trying this, but my nature is a little more negative, is there anyone out there having success with this kind of thought and practice?

then your probably open to the idea of Multiple Parallel Universes too, right?

After all, these theories all come from scholarly, highly educated, scientifically minded individuals such as yourselves.

With the Multiverse theory, we can explain away such things as the apparent fine tuning of the universe.

If you believe that, then do you also believe that STAR TREK, STAR WARS and BUCK RODGERS are a genuine reality in some parallel dimension somewhere?

If the Multiple Parallel Universe theory is correct, how can you escape the absurd possibility that Captain Kirk could be putting the moves on some alien babe in some "hypothetical" reality as we speak?

The Secret of Living

The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, and He will show them His covenant.

— Psalm 25:14

Have you ever been semi-listening in on someone's conversation? Not intentionally, of course, because you would never do that. Maybe you were in a restaurant and your table was right next to someone else's. Maybe you were talking to the person you were with or reading. You weren't really listening, but then you heard the magic word. Someone said, "I am going to tell you a secret right now. No matter what, I don't want you to tell anyone else this secret. . . . "

What did you do? Did you put your hands over your ears? No. If you're like most people, you listened more carefully. We all love to hear secrets. We want to know the inside story. Even if someone is a complete stranger, we are still interested in his or her secret.

God has a secret that He wants to declare to you. The Bible says, "The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him" (Psalm 25:14). In many ways, this isn't really a secret, because it is plainly declared in Scripture. Unfortunately, because so few people have opened up the Bible to see what it says, they have missed out.

This is the secret of making life more full and meaningful. It is a secret that can help you avoid untold misery and heartache. You might even say it is the secret of living. We find it in Ecclesiastes 12:13, where Solomon says, "Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man's all."

That is what it all comes down to. That is what is going to keep you on track for God's plan for your life.

Like breaking something or ruining someone's life. Augustine found this out but why is it so? (it has nothing to do with the devil because that would mean that he is has a greater influence on us than God. Devil> God)
