Atheists! Why aren't you showing more Christmas cheer!?

You won't hear it from me. The more celebrating and joy in the world, the better. You let me celebrate my way, and I won't interfere with you celebrating your way, and we can both be happy.

If you're going to set up a Nativity, then celebrate the rest of the holiday, too!

In all honesty, I did not know Christmas and Easter were christian holdidays until I was 14 and in eight grade when a friend gave me an Easter gift. (an egg with items in it resembling items that related to Jesus and why Easter came to be)

To my family it was a celebration to bring our families together, enjoy each others company and to spread love, I still see it that way, but now know what it truly means to everyone else.

Christmas is a pagan festival I suggest you learn some history and actually understand what you are celebrating your ignorance has made you come over like a thicko. Ever wondered why atheists have higher IQ`s than Christians watch link and educate yourself

they celebrate christmas for the same reasons christians do - they like the pagan holy day of yule!

athiesm is a religion. it is the religion of science and knowlodge! let me stoop down to the lvl of the first guy to answer. why are christians here? you know what, all i can do is laugh about that. i pity you christian that are so ignorent to say such a fowl thing about that!

That's just like them calling atheism a religion, and then asking 100x a day "Why are athiest here???"
