then you say hello
I can hardly speak
my heart is beating so
and anyone can tell
you think you know me well
but you don't know me"

and how could you tell that coincidence had nothing to do with it? Why is it certain to you that there is a God? Would that 'evidence' also be convincing to someone else?

I wonder if you can convince me (try hard, because nobody's ever succeeded yet)

I do not ask this to be sarcastic or slamming Religion and faith. It is a big question I honestly want to know. If all the main worlds faith believe in treating others well then why do we try so hard at killing each other ? it seems to me those that kill do not follow their faith at all.

What do you feel drives humanity to do such horrible things to one another, the planet and animals? Honestly are we not one of the cruelest races to have inhabited this planet to date? We take more than we need and are gluttons (AGAIN NOT EVERYONE IM JUST SUMMING UP) We can blow our own planet up or at leat Iradiate it so nothing but roaches can live.

WHY? Imagine if all the hatred and war was used for gainful purposes what we may have acheived! I do not blame Religion I blame people. I just do not understand how they can call themselves religious yet do these atrocities!!

imagine for one moment all we have are each other, wouldn't it make sense for humanity to develop this idea of "God" that could represent the love inside us all for each other? the need to belong, the need to be accepted, could that not be translated as a metaphor meaning "God?" Just a thought..
