1914.
From the prophecies in the Book of Daniel.

Daniel 4; 1-17
Dan. 9;25

CALCULATING THE “SEVEN TIMES”

“Seven times” = 7 X 360 = 2,520 years

A Biblical “time,” or year = 12 X 30 days = 360. (Rev. 11:2, 3; 12:6, 14)

In the fulfillment of the “seven times” each day equals one year. (Ezek. 4:6; Num. 14:34)

Early October, 607 B.C.E., to December 31, 607 B.C.E.= 1/4 year

January 1, 606 B.C.E., to December 31, 1 B.C.E. = 606 years

January 1, 1 C.E., to December 31, 1913 = 1,913 years

January 1, 1914, to early October, 1914 = 3/4 year

Total: 2,520 years

My understanding is that the war in Heaven occurred before the Creation of this earth. Lucifer first became jealous when he was excluded and pre-incarnate Jesus was taken into private counsels with the Father and the Holy Spirit concerning the creation of this earth and the establishment of the Plan of Salvation -- because the Godhead knew that Lucifer was about to start the Sin problem and that Sin would also infect the earth.

Then, to make a longer story short, when Lucifer and his third of angels were kicked out of Heaven, they set about roaming the universe trying to find others of God's Creations to subvert. Meanwhile, God Created this earth and set up Adam and Eve in the Garden with their test of faithfulness being the Tree of the Knowledge of God and Evil. Each of God's Creations contained such a test. It is at the site of such tests in all of God's Creations that satan had his only chance to subvert the other Creations.

As we know, satan succeeded here. I'm given to understand that, as a result of that success, he took over dominion of this earth, from Adam, and as the representative of this earth God had to allow satan to return to Heaven at those times when all of God's Creations came together for general Council Meetings (see Job 1 and 2). When Christ bought back this Creation, satan was then barred forever from Heaven and, as a result of what he did to the Son of God surrounding the Crucification scene, none of the other Creations would listen to him anymore, either -- thus, he no longer had access to the other Creations from then on.

Lastly, though John the Revelator saw the war in Heaven, in vision, he was seeing it as it had occurred in the past.

1914.
Pugwashjw's answer shows how we get to 1914.

Satan still had access to the heavens when Job was on earth.

The war is supposed to be after the writing of Revelation about 98 CE.

Sadly, some believe that war is still future, not knowing it occured 93 years ago.

1914...Can we say this was when this prophecy was to be fulfilled? Really, that was the question raised by the disciples when they asked Jesus about ‘the sign of his presence and of the conclusion of the system of things’—as we discussed in Chapter 10. (Matthew 24:3) As we saw, the evidence is overwhelming that Jesus’ presence in heavenly Kingdom power began in 1914. Since that time, we have experienced “woe for the earth” indeed!

The War in the Heavens.

Happened after the angels were created, before Humans fell to sin.

Satan and his angels were defeated, vanished by God, and allowed to make earth his kingdom. They brought sin to earth and tempted Eve & Adam.
