In Jeremiah 1:5 it says:
5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I dordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
What do you take this to mean?

I believe I now am in pre-mortal existence. I will live another life, after this one in this reality. I believe that our spirit leaves our body in sleep, enters the spiritual realm, only to return be we wake. That is why dreams can seem so real, because they are real in the spiritual realm. In death a similar thing happens, but our spirit has to find the right fresh body, it would be comfortable in. I believe this universe, contains the only reality that counts, and that there is no escape, to some alternative reality after we die. We must contribute positively to this reality and its problems, because there is no escaping it. God will appreciate al those, who overall contribute positively to this world, no matter what they believe. Reincarnation is the most moral system of after-life that exists.

We all lived in the first earth age.
After Satan's rebellion with 1/3rd of God's angels (some of us rebelled with him),
God decided to give those a 2nd chance to be
born into this earth age, after God re-created the earth again.

He knew Jeremiah in this first earth age.
He knew all of us also.
There are other references also,
Jacob have I love, Esau have I hated
before they were born

Look up Esau in a concordance to find this verse if you can.
Also others in the bible about the first earth age

This is bizarre when you first think of this, but makes complete sense the more you study the bible. Other references to the first earth age are below:

II Peter 3:5-6,7,10-13
Gen 1:26 Cities, another dimension
Jeremiah 4:22-31 First earth age and destruction of it and soddish (stupid)children
Isaiah 45:18-19 Earth Formed, created to be inhabited, not hidden, first earth age
Job 40:15
Ezekiel 1
Ezekiel 28
Proverbs 8:22
Isaiah 45:18
Revelation 21:23
Revelation 12:4
Ephesions 1:4
Psalm 104:1-2
Job 38:7
Job 1:6
Job 2:1

That means before God created us he ordained (prepared a path/plan) for our lives! We weren't born before! You only get one life and by God's grace you get more than one chance to corrected your life mistakes.

Yes because I don't think that means Jesus speaks to us in the womb.

it means that God knew us before anyone has ever thought of us. God knew you before you knew yourself.
