It wasn't even there before Eisenhower put it there. Is it because it would be one step towards America actually living up its claims of "freedom of religion"?

Or are they both equally difficult to believe. How can so many people believe the stories of Jospeh Smith? How can so many Christians think believing in mormonism is silly while they consider their own beliefs not equally silly?

But you met this person on an online religion and spirituality question and answer website?

I know it sounds ridiculous. But what if it's meant to be and this is just how we met? Am I just screwed? Will she laugh at me if I say anything?

It's not as creepy as it sounds, this person is my friend. Its not like I'm a stranger stalking her. We've both been coming here for a long time. What would you do if you were me?

Something like this does not come around every day.

1 Timothy 6:3-5 (New Century Version)

3 Anyone who has a different teaching does not agree with the true teaching of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching that shows the true way to serve God.4 This person is full of pride and understands nothing, but is sick with a love for arguing and fighting about words. This brings jealousy, fighting, speaking against others, evil mistrust,5 and constant quarrels from those who have evil minds and have lost the truth. They think that serving God is a way to get rich.

i think that works for alot of people on this.

and you know its true.

In light of the recent investigations on the Word of Faith ministers (Creflo Dollar, Joyce Meyer, Kenneth Copeland, etc) why won't they also investigate Fred Phelps, the creator of the website www.godhatesfags.com? If you ask me, this psycho is a LOT more dangerous than the Word of Faith camp. Why don't they try to find out what the heck this nut is up to?

Just the answers I'm getting makes me feel like I don't have a chance. Should I just let this go? I can't help how I feel.

Seems like I heard something like this referenced in the radio once, and I don't remember what it was called. Curious if there is a formal religion that reconciles and "merges" the three faiths? (outside of unitarianism, that sortof fuses everything, I guess.)

Just curious. Serious answers please. Thanks.

Amo 5:4 For thus saith the LORD unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live:
Amo 5:5 But seek not Bethel, nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beersheba: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Bethel shall come to nought.

Is there an argument for God's existence that isn't summarized on thist list?

I know they present them in rude or immature language, but I'm talking about the basic foundations of the arguments.

What's the most probable scenario. That one religion is right, some religions are right, all religions are right, non of them are right, or there is no god or gods. The world would make more sense to me if non of them are right, or if there is no god/gods at all.

right now this minute i think the words of Jesus mean more than anything. with imminent race wars and religious wars and armegeddon in the news, how can the whole world survive and still find grace with God, the words of Jesus are: Love your enemies and forgive those that despitefully use you. Resist not evil.
if we do this we can overcome the one world government and dictatorship and still be alive to see the second coming.
of course that die get to "Miss" the tribulation so their end is quick. but it would be too late to save the world and human civilization.
any people can you see flaws in this hypothesis? can you see alternative probabilities. ?
