Just the answers I'm getting makes me feel like I don't have a chance. Should I just let this go? I can't help how I feel.

YES! ABSOLUTELY... it's worth the risk, but I'd advocate not jumping straight to I LOVE YOU WILL YOU MARRY ME!

Start off with something like, I feel a connection to you.... and explore a friendship first. see where it goes and find time to talk/chat/email outside of R&S and see where it goes. But STOP beating around the bush... Honesty is the ONE thing I think all women agree we want in a partner....

Is she single?
Do you know where she lives? (Is it close enough for you to actually meet someday, and maybe continue to meet? If she lives in another country or something, then you'd have a challenge on your hands.)

In your e-mails with her, have you had the impression that maybe she might be "looking" for someone special?

You never know if you don't try, or at least talk about it. A lot of people have met their true love through chat rooms and places like this. If it's not meant to be, then it's not meant to be, and you will move on.

Then don't. Who gives a f--k what other people think? You are responsible to your heart, not to bitter haters. Go easy at first. Don't come on too strong. Suggest meeting first and take it from there. Good luck!!!

honestly my brother and his future wife met on the internet.

he brought her home so we could all meet her, and she's wonderful. they are perfect for each other.

you never know what will happen, but do you want to risk losing what might be the best thing to ever happen to you?

at least try...that's my advice.

good luck

Oh shucks.. I'm flattered, but really...

Lol seriously, how do you know she doesn't feel the same way? tell her.. the worst that can happen is she'll say no, and you can move on to crushing someone else.

Tell the person how you feel if you know they are available. Do it! Do it!

Then give us all the details.

you're probably one of those people who say 'oh looks don't matter; it's the person within..'. until you meet the person face-to-face that is. God help you if he/she looks like mothra.
